Patrick Buchana, Certified Wealth Strategist®

Patrick Buchana is a Financial Advisor with Burgdorf Wealth Managers with over 10 years of wealth management experience working with individuals, families, and businesses. Pat previously worked as a process engineer and client relationship manager in the food and beverage industry supporting major capital projects for Fortune 500 companies. These technical and interpersonal skills have enabled Pat to work with a diverse range of financial clients to help secure their financial future.

Pat earned a BS., Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1997, and an MBA, Financial Emphasis from Saint Louis University in 2003, summa cum laude.  In 2012, he earned his series 7 and 66 securities registrations, followed by the Certified Wealth Strategist® (CWS®) designation in 2016. Pat also earned his distinction as a SmartVestor Pro Advisor in early 2023, making him an even greater asset to Burgdorf Wealth Managers than he already was. Pat enjoys outdoor activities and projects, working on his 1971 Plymouth Barracuda, playing the guitar, and collecting original classic rock vinyl records.  His wife Liz is a middle school agricultural science educator.  She continues to put her dreams into reality through homesteading, operating a hobby farm with Pat, and growing plants.  Together with their three sons they love cooking up scratch pizza, movie night, road trips to see concerts, and enjoying their hobby farm.
